Refilling Prescriptions It is important to take your prescription medications regularly. Therefore, we request that you contact our office at least three days before you run out of medication. FAX or telephone the office between 8am and 4pm for prescription refills. Please provide the pharmacy name, phone number, drug name and dosage.
The fastest way to get a prescription refill is to contact your local pharmacy with your request and your physician's name and telephone number. The pharmacist will contact our office directly with the appropriate information. You can then pick up your prescription at the designated time.
If you want to speak to someone about your prescription before refilling it, please call our office. During our office hours, the nurse and physician will most likely be seeing patients and may not be able to speak directly with you. Please leave your name, the name of the prescription drug, and telephone numbers where you can be contacted. Please note: Prescriptions will not be renewed after business hours or on weekends. All requests must be made during our usual business hours Under certain circumstances, the physician will ask to see you before providing a refill Laboratory Results Although most diagnostic centers have results available to your physician within 24-48 hours, your physician must review the results before the information may be released to you. We will try to have the results to you within 3-5 business days of when the test was performed. In most cases, the physician will request that a nurse or medical assistant give you your results. If you have not received notice of your test results within 5 business days please call the office and ask to speak to your nurse about your test results.
