Heart Failure Clinic

Our Heart Failure Clinic was established to improve the quality of life provide  for those

living with heart failure and/or pulmonary hypertension by providing comprehensive work ups,

follow ups and education.  By participating in and following custom management of this chronic

medical condition, many patients are able to quickly return to their active lives - in many cases

without hospital admissions. In addition to education on life style changes and medications,

we offer inotropic infusions, follow up of Bi-ventricular pacemakers, ICDs and pacemakers

in our office setting. In the near future our Cardiology Department will be participating

in a clinical trial that may provide patients with new treatment options before

 they become available to the general public.

Background

Heart failure is a progressive condition in which the heart muscle cannot pump enough

blood through the body to supply the necessary amount of oxygen.  There are various

causes and risk factors of heart failure as well as various treatment options.
